Lorenz Attractor T-Shirt

R$101.74

In 1963 the meteorologist Edward Lorenz boiled the weather down to three simple equations, and found chaos hiding inside them. Follow a single point and it loops around one wing, then the other, never settling and never repeating. Start a second point a hair's breadth away and before long it's somewhere else entirely.

That sensitivity gave us the famous butterfly effect: could the flap of a butterfly's wings in Brazil set off a tornado in Texas? Fittingly, the shape itself looks like a butterfly.

Drawn from the original equations (σ = 10, ρ = 28, β = 8/3) in crisp white lines on a dark shirt. Order and unpredictability, in one beautiful loop.
