A sunflower T-shirt in sunset colours: 700 seeds placed by the golden angle, fading from violet at the centre through hot pink to orange at the edge, on a dark shirt.

Each new seed grows about 137.5° round from the last. Because that golden angle is as far from a simple fraction as a number can be, the seeds never line up into straight rows and no space is wasted. Spirals appear, curling both ways, and their counts are Fibonacci numbers, as on a real sunflower head.

In Vogel's model each seed sits further out as the square root of its number, so the fade from violet to orange is really the seeds counting from 1 to 700. Part of The Prism Collection: our white originals, split into colour. A sunset that never quite sets.

Begin at the collar on the top (high point shoulder) and draw the measuring tape down to the garment's bottom.

B Width

Start the measurement at the seam right below one sleeve and extend the tape across to the seam underneath the opposite sleeve.

Position the tape at the top of the set-in sleeve and extend it down to the sleeve's hem.
